I'm curious as the the quality and which factory they are produced in. It would obviously be China given the price, but there are Chinese factories and then there are Chinese factories.
I wonder what the sound is like?

Hand crafting guitars, because Death Rays are expensive.

    Here's a very short demo.

Sounds pretty awful if you ask me, but that's probably mostly the tiny speaker in the cheap and nasty amp.

Yep, my first thought was that these level guitars are going to wreak havoc on pawn broker guitar pricing. Even more of the overpriced junk mistaken as treasure and the occasional treasure mistaken as junk.

My Epiphone Slash LP is not bad except the tuners were rubbish, and that was for an axe with RRP around $399. It has a bolt on neck like these ones however the neck feels good and the PUP's are almost as good as the Tonerider Alnico IV's in my EX-1. Don't think these cheapies would as well appointed at such low prices. Probably better finished and sounding gear out there for similar coin without the Gibson brand endorsement.
