    Raring to go!

    Hey All!

Cade here (more commonly go by Coop). I managed to order a sneaky JazzBass jb-4 kit yesterday online while the missus was sleeping and I'm pretty excited to get started once it arrives. This will be a first time build attempt for me while I look to gain further understanding of the process, and hopefully at the end of the journey I will have a beauty new bass to be proud of. The model is similar to a current SX custom bass I was given as a gift, so if all goes well I will hope to try a more advanced kit of a different style in the future.
The video's and instructions here look great and are very detailed, which played a big part in me deciding to give this a go so well done and thanks!

    Cheers

    Hi, Cade and welcome.

Don't forget to do a build diary, as regular photos and updates can help others keep your build going smoothly. Just take your time; measure twice, cut once and all that kind of thing, and you should have an enjoyable build and a great bass at the end of it.

Thanks fella's. Will definitely be tracking and updating all progress in a build diary as I anticipate I'll be stumbling my through this first kit! I've been reading as many of the pinned posts as I can in advance to get some basics prepped.

Hello, fellow Brisbanian! Love me a good J bass. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
