Ive done the undercoat and several top coats and its going ok, had to sand out a few runs, there are some minor flaws i can live with,

See how we go have to do the clearcoat next now, this lot of paint cost 11$ a can instead of 50 for the nitro. Its just "Squirts' some dinky di quick drying enamel. Im happy with it for a smash out job.
Its Ivory White, i think my sprayings getting better.

Its only a 100something dollar guitar thats my excuse for not prepping it a bit more thoroughly. I should have bothered, i have a feeling this little Telecaster will turn out to be an ok guitar, well see.
Got it warming with an oil heater in a small room on lowest to help it cure.
    Kind regards from david always.

    Looking good to me.

I can't tell from the photos, but it's definitely worth putting a disk of masking tape over the end of the truss rod nut, otherwise you may need to scrape it out before the truss-rod key fits in it properly.

Im almost done i could have been a bit more careful but its a players anyway hopefully.
The truss rod access seems fine @SimonBarden however, i will file that for the next ones.
@Fenderx yeah who cares the labels its how it plays and sounds that matters, if playing for 40 years has taught me anything its just that, to a degree anyway.

Yeah i was surprised my friend i thought it sounds really good no need to upgrade the pikups really?
Had a nice chewy Single coil tele sound and the bass pikup has plenty of warmthalso, im so happy with these kits Mr fender3x they really are great value for money and an absolute blast to make, how satisfying is it to play your own home made instrument sir?
Its just fantastic, hope whoever buys the business carries on with the very fair prices and set up here i luvs you guys for all your help so very greatful and its nice speaking with you all on this forum too i enjoy that very much.
