Ive done the undercoat and several top coats and its going ok, had to sand out a few runs, there are some minor flaws i can live with,
just busting to play it, i have some old rusted strat singles pickups i might dog one into the front with a bit of fettling the plastic it almost fits the fretguard hole at the neck.
See how we go have to do the clearcoat next now, this lot of paint cost 11$ a can instead of 50 for the nitro. Its just "Squirts' some dinky di quick drying enamel. Im happy with it for a smash out job.
Its Ivory White, i think my sprayings getting better.
Its only a 100something dollar guitar thats my excuse for not prepping it a bit more thoroughly. I should have bothered, i have a feeling this little Telecaster will turn out to be an ok guitar, well see.
Got it warming with an oil heater in a small room on lowest to help it cure.
Kind regards from david always.
