Hey Guys has anyone know anything about keyboards, I've got a bit of bug for a keyboard I know absolutely nothing about I've looking at some yamahas any good and what to look for and what is garbage any help would appreciated

G'day Mark,

I have a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-121S that's about 25 years old that we got for our daughter when she was learning piano.

It has weighted keys that appear to be quite velocity sensitive and also has MIDI so I use it for all the non guitar stuff on our recordings, I'm not a keyboard player by any stretch of imagination but I happen to know someone who can make my stuff sound OK after stitching it together.

I have used Reaper for my DAW for around 15 years so know my way around it fairly well and use free VST and VSTi plugins, I do have a couple of paid VST channel strips that I use in the mastering process.

was thinking of a Yamaha most things they make a usually good quality I'm a complete dumb dumb about them
