I’ve used the Graph Tech Tusq PT-5042-00 Flat Bottom 42mm Slotted for Strat and Tele necks, like Sonic said sometimes it needs a little shim but apart from that they’re perfect.

Next I added the Golden teak stain and clear coated it using 2k automotive clear coat, after it was cured I cut it back with 800 wet and dry.

No it’s all paint, black base, one coat of silver which is covered by plastic film while wet then removed, then candy red over that.

Looking at a AIB-1Q or AIB-1F next, love the look and want to do more wood staining.

Just finished my first build (posted some pics in the TL galleries) got the bug so joined to find some like minded people, and get some ideas for my second build :)
