    Now quite a while on..guitar sounds great but...

    Now quite a while on..guitar sounds great but neck too fat and it’s heavy.
    Thinking of slimming neck to a “c” shape and reducing weight with a big belly cut or getting some routing on back done....

    PROBLEM SOLVED eventually
    I redid much of the solder and the three switch positions connected. I put tape under the switch. Everything looked ok.
    Back to my music room.....farting and spitting...

  13. TL build 3 way switch not working in middle position.

    I have had a look and all the wires seem to be connected.
    It started intermittently now doesn’t work.
    If I have to get another is there a benefit in buying the upgrade kit?

    I love the Maton guitar and the 808 size is great....sold a lot of stuff online during lockdown including an Ibanez parlour with thermo treated wood. The Maton is the best acoustic I’ve ever owned.

    Pickup hole 5 mm minimum out of position

    Anyone installed these....the bridge pickup earth wire is very short and I’m wondering I’d I can just put it in same hole as earth which cones from pot and the use the bridge to earth both wires...
