The maple fretboard has a slot in the nut channel that matches the depth of the fret slots. A matching piece of fretwire should drop right in there. I could offset the fretwire by removing one side...

Makes a great base color for a very purple burgundy color. I just can't do a pink guitar. It was done with black, oil based stain over the pink. 42404
