I would guess on the wiring being wrong and your signal being sent to ground or an air gap in your signal path?
The issue may be with connection to the output jack?
Double check the wiring path...

As a professional network engineer , I agree completly .
100 mb at home is fine unless youve got a local SAN and you doing video editing.
Cat5e will be fine for home, but cat 6 and above is better...
We need rain, moderate and repeated showers of rain. That would start to put things back on track.
But until we get good rain , it will only get worse.
I keep renovating and getting distracted by other things.
I’m working on a Jem kit atm.
I actually used the program yesterday to make some grain filler for the neck.
Guy's
Here is one for the geeks out there.
I am going to use some Shellac as a grain filler and I wanted metric conversion for the process.
So having some time on my hands and wanting to learn...
Guy's Im about to start an SV-1.
Is there any tricks or traps with the scale length and getting the neck position in the pocket right?

After struggling with poly finish again ( never again) I've made a little progress.
I bought some CTS pots and had to route the control cavity.
And I've started the wiring.

Andy it's an ash body, with a nice tight grain pattern
I'm just starting the clear now after a couple of coats of sicans base coat.
More pics later today.
There is a school of thought, (ie some bloke told me once) that it takes about 18 months for the finished to bond with the body.
After this the majority of the sound improvements happen, after about...
Really nice job can't wait to see it finished!
I've just given the body a quick sand, wiped it with a damp cloth to pop up the grain, sanded it again and p it a grain sealer on.
It's starting to look pretty shmick!

Yeh, I'll have to have a good think about it.
The supplied pick guard is not doing it for me.
I might just make a min one to hold the neck pickup and show more of the timber.

A light cedar stain, I'm thinking 70's style colouring.
Hi guys I'm back....
I'd like thank Adam for doing a Baritone neck.
I've bought a 27" and I'm throwing it onto Tele body.
I was going to do a borax/enamel dip for the finish, but it to good a bit...
Simon,
Fugian factory is we're the Gretch pro line is made.
Buzzing is definitely earth,
Double check your bridge plate earth?
I built a lap steel out of telespares, Wokaboy boy has kindly mentioned my build.
I used origon and oink with some red gum thrown in for looks.
You can if you wish use bolts for bridges and nuts....
I normally play in open D (dropped open E ) . Occasionally I do the Rolling Stones open G as well.
I really want to try out C sixth to exercise my inner cowboy :-)
It's a standard Tele scale, mainly because I've got Tele parts and I want to play in either open D or E.
When it stops raining and I can get the beasty out of the garage I'll get a photos,
It's real perdy

Finally got it strung up.
It's sounds ok. I've still got some tweaks to do.
It's a temporary nut, but it lives!!

Getting closer, the ears are on ,the bridge is seated.
Just need a jack plate and I'm ready to go
I'm either going to use a cut off brass bolt or brass rod for my nut.
I've just got to see what the big green sheds got in stock.... ;-)
