Hi All My Dingotone Guitar wax arrived yesterday and is very hard and dry. Is there a preferred method of softening it up or would a bit of heat do the job?
HI wokkabnoy, it's a ES1g so there's a fair bit of it! I might try your advice thanks.
Hi All I think I have paid the price by applying Dingotone in the cold weather plus the humidity wouldn't have helped. It has now been close to a month and the finish is still a bit sticky and...

Hi Wokkaboy each coat had a week to dry, As you say it has not been very good drying weather down here. Now the weather has warmed up perhaps another week will make the difference.
A question for Dingobass. I have finished my ES 1G with dingotone clear and it has had the 3 applications and now been curing for about two weeks. It still feels tacky and has a slightly lumpy...
Welcome Bill. I'm also a newbie and building an ES G1. It's a good place to be!

Hi Stan, been trying to upload pics as per instructions in FAQ's but doesn't seem to work
After sanding to 1200 grit I applied two coats of Dingotone clear. Unfortunately the veneer on the front did not take evenly so it looks like it will be a paint job!
Thanks Andy40. That sounds a bit easier. I'll give that a try
Thanks Zandit75 Havn't heard of photobucket but will give it a try
Looking for a program to resize photos. Have tried a couple off the web but not having much luck. Any suggestions?
Thanks heaps Zandit 75. Magnificent piece of spalting - really needed to be shown off - looks great
Has anyone done a dingo tone clear finish? I have ordered this for my ES 1g and am wondering how it might turn out
