I've had a look at the height at the first fret, and it seems very high.
Found this on the stew mac site about string height:
Electric guitar
Bass E
Treble E
Action at the 1st fret

Ok, tomorrow I'll give flipping the bridge around a go, see what happens
ok, maybe I was a bit premature.
Here's every measurement I can find.
firstly, I turned everything around in the bridge to face away from the nut, and wound them as close as I possibly could to...
no, the original nut.
OK, I'll take those measurements. Mine is the same as yours Andy. 626 to the start of the bridge.
Half of my saddles face the other way weirdbits. I'll take it apart...
Thanks mate.
Next step. All put together, and plays. Some issues with the bridge I can't work out - I've started a thread in support.
Just got to resolve the teething issues, and get a decal...
It's marginally out as you move up the neck (5th, 7th 9th etc), but gets worse as you go.
It's flat at the 12th.
the gap at either side of both e's is pretty much identical

So, my question. I'm stuck really. I'm not sure what to do here.
I thought there is only 2 ways to fix this.
Take the neck off (really don't want to do that, as it's glued in. That...

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with a suggestion about an issue I'm having.
Build thread is here: http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4329&page=4
Anyway....
Getting there now. This has been a sloooow build!!!
Oil is done.
Wiring is done and working.
Just got to screw everything in, then start to set it up.
Very hard to get a picture that...
Thanks guys, certainly feel a bit better about it now.
So, after a lot of sanding to remove it all, I went again.
There was some shreds of the white left (but not a lot).
This time I hit it with the same ink as I had done the striping with, only...
Long time between posts. I've had a Barry Crocker with this, so have taken a breather.
My thoughts on the top were to use Minwax pickling stain on the top, for a blonde\white look that you can...
As for the future plans?
I'm thinking of using Minwax White Wash Pickling Stain on the top, and a lighter coloured stain for the back of the body and the neck.
Haven't decided the exact colour...
Then, sanded back. I wasn't too sure how far to go. I was very cautious due to reading on here about sanding through the top as it is so thin.
I have ended up about here. Maybe I've taken too...
Long time between drinks, this has been very slow process due to, well a lot of things going on.
Checking the dates, I'm amazed how long this has taken me. I'm on a bit of push now to get things...
Slow progress on this one, doing it as I have the time.
Have put Timbermate on and sanded back to 400. May have to give it another crack though, not 100% happy with it.
Big weekend - dove in and...
plus, he uses "freaking sick" on his webpage (http://www.huntamps.com/ Freaking Sick 30 Volt Overdrive), so you know he's reputable.....
Just thinking outside the box a little bit, I googled Amp repair stores in Phoenix.
This guy came up: http://www.huntamps.com/projects/
Now, if you need it packaging correctly for shipping,...
Great, thanks db
dingobass, I emailed Adam about the part and he said he'd send a replacement. I haven't got it yet - but then I didn't send an address.... I'll send the photos through via email, thanks.
OK, finally had some time to start this build over the weekend.
Sanding. Lots of sanding. In fact that's all I've done so far.... down to 400. Probably give it another go this weekend as well....
Thanks for the tip kenfu, I'll have a crack at it that way.
Second post, won't go into too much detail:
I assume glue? How will I remove this from the veneer top? Super light sanding or wire brush?

Slight ding, no real dramas though. Tiny...
