That sounds pretty good. I guess my arm could do with a good work out. Thanks Andrew (and Gavin)!

Anyone tried this? It seems to be similar to Tru Oil but the Australian version, but I can't find reviews about it anywhere. If anyone's tried this and has any insights to share, itd be much...
Thanks guys, Im going to give this a shot.
Ill do that if no one can tell me that its a bad idea before I give it a shot and end up swearing with sandpaper gunked up with nail polish.
Anyone tried to macguyver any less conventional house hold-ish materials as inlay? I found a whole stash of nail polish and was wondering if itd be possible to use it as an inlay material. Dremel a...
A drop of superglue for the nut is what I use.
Never tried tung oil on the fretboard personally, I always liked lemon oil. But it should work. And itll work for the back of the neck too.
Itd work but make sure you add a couple of frets to get the scale length right. From memory, from 25" to 27" youd need to go from a 22 fret to a 24 fret to maintain the scale length.
Have a go at adjusting your truss rod. It might help.
Anyone tried isocabs? Basically a soundproof box that you put your amp and mic in. I think Ola Englund (correct me if Im wrong) uses it and it obviously does a good job for him.
Dang that looks good. Would it be a basswood body maple neck?
Sorry to hijack the post, but on the note of soft basswood, has anyone tried spraying hardener onto it? Im curious as to the results.
If you have a mac you can go straight to the mac from iRig, if not, then it depends on the configuration of the mic in socket, cos its got to have the input contact where the mic section of the tip...
Ibanez used to do carved top RG's as RGA's anyone know what happened to them?
Hardening the components theoretically will increase highs and articulation. (I could explain why and have done it on many youtube comments with people explaining that body wood has zero affect on...
The Nullabor Ochre is a kick ass colour. Used it on my custom IB-7 and it truned out great.
Does that fit gauge 99999 strings?
Im sure you could shoot Adam an email and custom order a SG with a Bigsby.

Hey Adam, could I custom order a 25 string guitar for my super heavy djenting? I only need a pickup for the bottom two strings though. If you play...
Yup, fixed string through.
It sounds massive. Its got a really tight low end. With distortion. the neck position its a great rhythm tone and the bridge is great for leads. Clean, the neck position sounds really full, with both...
Sorry this is very late in posting, I finished this on Christmas day. Been bogged down by festivities and work so it took a while for me to have the time to upload it without swearing at my slow...
Youre gutsy to try this as a first build. I've finished three kits and Im still not brave enough to try a hollow body cos I swear the wiring will drive me nuts. Best of luck and keep us posted.
No such thing as too long. The majority of time I spend is on waiting for the finish to cure.
Here's what I hope to be the last DT coat, but I have a Christmas party coming up so I thought itd be best to keep other humans from putting their filthy hands all over it while the finish is still...
I'm in my final year of high school at James Ruse over here in Sydney. Guitar building has kept me sane while the pressures of exams get to me.
