Gotta love public holidays......after doing a few other chores around the house got stuck into final assembly of this build with some shots taken late this afternoon after dark. Apologies for the poor quality and will post some better ones when I can.

woah! again great colour and finish
nice one Wazz, you are getting bit of a collection of builds buddy, there's no doubt you have been sucked in by GAS !
has the tele been built with stock hardware ?
what is your public holiday in Qld for ? Anzac Day was only a week ago !
Thanks Woks.....only 4 builds were on the go and might ease up for a bit once these are finished before contemplating any more.
Upgrades are Wilkinson PUP's, also have some Bourns 250k audio taper pots, Sprague 0.047 Orange Drop Capacitor, Recessed Jack Plate with Switchcraft jack, plus 4 way switch so that I can wire it up in series on the 4th setting. Ah, also the custom home made Faker Wazzacaster transfer decals too.
Our State Labor Government moved Labour Day back from 1st Monday in October to satisfy their socialist roots as god knows we really need another day off just one week after Anzac Day. They have instead dropped June as Queens Birthday and we will celebrate that in October? Makes a lot of sense considering Lizzie's Birthday was on 21st April.
Apologies if I have offended any Labor Party supporters, just reporting things how I see it.
Thanks Andy.
Not easy getting stain to match on rock maple necks as the grain is so tight. The trick seems to be a very light 180 or 240 to take the very slightest roughness off and apply stain. If you go any further it gets too smooth and glassy and thus repels colour.
thats a good tip Waz trying to get the neck stain to match the body. You can always sand the neck super smooth once the clear coats have been built up.
Nice Tele Waz and love the colour
