Having them the other way (which I now know is the right way! :( ) the tuner for the D string protruded out really close to the corner of the headstock where the top bit curves in.
So my question is - is there any harm in leaving them as they are or am I likely to run into problems with tuning etc? Swapping them over means I'd have to make good the screw hole which might not look too good as filler won't take stain so I'm guessing you'd be able to see it. It tunes up and plays lovely so I'm inclined to leave them unless I'm heading for problems. Any advice would be gratefully received.
