Found out today that the song At Ballarat the Max and I wrote was entered in a national songwriters comp and has made the top 30, winner to be announced at a dinner on 30th of October

I really don't dig on country unless it's really oddball - like maybe Ween or Violent Femmes. This has a lot of the kookiness I appreciate in those artists' tracks.
I guess Richard Smoker appeals a bit then, my favorite off that album is I Don't Want To Leave You On The Farm but having said that they are all a bit of fun.Quote:
