If you don't mind a small investment in tools, one of the Japenese files or rasps would make that job easier. They really know their stuff when it comes to hand tools. One of the half-round ones would be perfect for those bevels.

I only have a Shinto Saw Rasp, but it's a brilliant tool. Hope to add more to my toolbox in the future though.
money spent on tools is generally well invested..... :)
Forgot to tale a few pictures along the way. But this is it so far.
Neck wasnt totally snug in the pocket and there was a little bit of wiggle.
As such I was quite afraid i was going to glue in the neck on the wrong angle to the pups and took ages to line it all up.
Hence no pics of the gluing/clamping exercise.
But i have a few of the headstock which i think came out kinda-ok.

Ps: the nut that i got from dingo bass as an add on with the kit purchase is beautiful.
Will show you pics later.
Today im going to do some more fine sanding on the body and try and get rid of all the glue drips from round the neck.
