Is that G for Grrrrr?
I believe its G for "Giggity Giggity"
I have not only taken a break from guitars, I even took a break from my art, but have managed a couple of renders

Video is a bit boring as I was running road tyres with the wrong diff which cost me around 15 Kph so not quick enough to keep up with the fast guys

Very quiet on the guitar building front at the moment. I have some more builds lined up, but I'm not quite ready to get into them.
My band recently found a drummer - who is also an audio engineer with an awesome rehearsal space, so there has been a fair bit more playing guitar than building recently. We are also renovating, having the house painted and a driveway put in, which has knock on of about a million jobs I need to do to prep, including rebuilding the front stair case. The old treads are all nice big chunks of hardwood, so I'm sure you can guess what will become of the ones that are in halfway good condition. Stay tuned for that.
Otherwise I thought some of you might be interested in this work in progress. I had half an idea to hand paint a design on the last guitar and I think I will at some point, but this was a fun warm up. Not quite done, but it's a lot of fun.

Nice to be painting again as I really haven't got them out since the guitar building bug bit.
The chair is very cool.
I've been painting a lot recently too, which is holding up guitars and pedal builds. I don't know if they count as extramural though, as it is really my job lol
Here's a slightly dodgy photo of one I just got back from Goulburn Regional Gallery

Guess I'd have to learn it :p. Yes the chair fits my wifes hippy aesthetic. But it's mostly to look cool sitting next to our bright red front door.
Yeah I watched you do that one on Instagram. Nice work. Portraits are a lot of fun, but I find I need to be enthusiastic about the source image or it doesn't end well. Pretty sure there are a bunch of mine earlier in this thread.
Yeah, I think I remember yours. I'll have to look back through.
I really enjoy painting portraits, but I agree about having to be enthusiastic about the subject/source image. I'm planning an exhibition of portraits for next year, so I'll be spending the next few months navigating that particular challenge
recently done a couple of covers. The book, I really have written, the album.....na
