Whilst i'm still building my very first kit, i've always loved PRS style guitars, especially the headstock shape and the extra routing on the body (which i don't have the skills or tools to pull off). I would love to build something like this.

There's a few build diaries on here for that kit, including one of my own. It doesn't have the same routing as a PRS, around the edge and horns. Not quite as arched / contoured.
I know that some other companies have kits which are closer to a PRS so I think this suggestion for a new kit from Pitbull is still valid. And a single f hole with belly cut thinline, similar to the new strats and teles, but in a PRS body shape would be really nice. I'd buy one.

Love this style. Im sure frankenwashie will agree
Except any PBG kit like that will have a huge F hole that looks out of place. I don't think they have any small F-hole templates.
Although the thinline Strat f-hole doesn't seem as big. I guess it doesn't have binding inside the hole like the PRS-1H does. Perhaps that's why they're bigger? And the use of veneers.

Wanting a PRS is what brought me to kit building. Too damn expensive to buy. Bought a relatively expensive PRS style kit from Alibaba with a 2-3 cm thick flame maple cap. Then I realised that I had none of the skills required to actually build a good guitar. That's how I found Pitbull and the PRS-1H. I now have 6 kits to build. . . and still haven't finished any.

You are not alone KuanJB...but if I might offer perspective.....
In progress Builds
ST-1 for a mate (This is actually progressing)
SMST "Reverse Hendrix" (This has stalled)
ESR-1E FrankenReso (This is about to get some colour)
IB-Freebie (This has to be stripped down as the basswood body has some issues)
Cliche Black LP (GAAAAAHHHH!)
Silent Baritone Build (Still sanding)
Waiting on shelf:
FV-Custom (have not yet touched it)
ST Custom, Unwanted kit (Damned Igor!)
IB-5 Custom, Unwanted kit (Damned Igor again!)
Add to that the raw timber for probably another 5 scratch builds. (This was all me)
You're really not doing too bad! :)
When you think about it FW, your just doing the community a solid justice by ensuring the unwanted kits have a caring home. It's really the right thing to do haha
I've got 3 on the go right now and I had to excersise restraint this morning while I watched an IB-5 count down the last seconds on eBay . Tick..no..tick...no...tick.. MAYBE..tick..NO!tick..
Just saw this build on Facebook. Not quite as carved as a PRS.

This is exactly what i'm looking for. I admit would love the cut away in the bottom horn (especially given my lack of woodworking ability / tools) but would settle for this for sure. With a few binding colour options and top options this would be awesome.
Agreed, love that quilted maple 3d effect hugely
