Well after 13 and a half months we're finally done.

It's been an educational experience. There's much I would do differently next time and I'm sure there are many who could take this further but overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Total budget £50 (for the room hire). We may not be from Yorkshire but we've embraced the spirit...

The next one may feature a pitbull guitar, in the meantime I hope you like it. :)

Oooh- it's got a bit of a Weddings Parties Anything feel so far...

Cheers folks. First time recording and mixing a full band so, as always, there's plenty of stuff I'd do differently next time but overall we're pretty happy with it. And it's an honest representation of what you'd hear if you came and saw us live - but that's probably a bit much of a trip for most folks here! :)

Thanks folks, glad you enjoyed it. The trickiest bit in all of this has been trying juggle all the different roles; singer, recording engineer, mixer, cameraman, editor, producer...
Or at least, trying to do so without wasting too much of everyone else's time!

Thanks for the cross over link. I shall give it a listen. I AM from Yorkshire so I will be definitely listening carefully.

Slowly ticking jobs off the list so should get some time to work on the next video before too long.
And the next solo EP isn't too far off either. :)

Sounds great. I know what those jobs are like. I have an EP to release at the end of March. 3 tracks musically are done. 2 completely. But it’s finding the space and time to do vocals I find frustrating. I’m not an amazing singer by any means so it takes me a long time.

I’ll update on the sharing music page when the new ones up. But if anyone is interested my older stuff is up too on Spotify and the usual music online places under : buffalo ghost

Love hearing what folks on here are making. One of the reasons I started BG was to work with other musicians. Using modern daws it’s easy to record and send files across the
World. Maybe some collaborations are on the cards.

Thank you. It’s quite an old album now (about 8years now) but holds up ok. Learned a lot since then and think my songs have gotten better too.

Looking forward to hearing something more recent then. :)

We were hoping to have our album out last November but decided to re-do the vocals on a couple of the tracks so now looking at a March release.

The first single off the album is on Bandcamp, Max Richards wrote the song for his late wife and obviously sings it, I am on guitar, bass and bass harmony, drums are written in MIDI and our mate Wes Grady is on pedal steel.

All recording and production done using Reaper on a Win10 64bit laptop

A video for Denmark Street from the same EP. Progress on this was delayed by a variety of things including stolen motorbikes and dead Macs, but I'm currently pretty happy with this:
