It's all there in black and white.
But what is it? New neck? It's quite long, so maybe a neck-thru guitar?
Neck through 8 string bass maybe?
Or even 12-string bass?
Definitely neck through something rather longish? The fret board sitting on top in one photo looks standard guitar scale so my money is on a traditional 6 string.
a sitar? :p

A toast rack for very thin toast?
looks nice, will be watching to see this unfold
Yowser Frankie, this looks like something special. Gonna be watching this build with great interest.
Too long for 25.5" F type scale and too short for 34" traditional Bass scale therefore reckon it must be 28" Baritone scale?
Baritone neck through 6 string guitar as I cannot recall Frankie even uttering anything about a Bass anywhere, and even it was that last shot would suggest short scale which is usually 30" but the fret board is too wide for 4 strings. Mind you a Baritone 8 string might just fit these dimensions?
Ooooohhhh Waz might be onto something:)

I want that Lab!
Wicked man
is that a PRS plan? anyone know where i can get a PRS S2 vela Plan from?
Are you doing a Music Man trick where they cut the fret board from the same slab used for the neck and re-glue it all back together once truss rod has been installed? (watched a Music Man doco on Youtube last night as well as a factory tour at Rickenbacker too).

He is keeping us guessing and so far not many correct guesses from me.
I think he's just cutting the neck and headstock in one piece (no scarf joint), so that the neck itself has to be cut at an angle from the blank. You can see the lines drawn on the side and he'll be cutting the bottom of the neck in the same fashion (once his soldering iron wounds heal).
But surely a FrankenWashie has an Igor in his lab to sew bits back on?
