Hi!
I'm Pedro from Spain, I'm waiting for my first kit, an IB-6S, and I'll need your help to have a great job.
When the kit arrives I'll make "my build diary" to show you my progress.
Thanks everyone (and sorry my english XD)

Hi Petrus and welcome to the forum.
Now why am I not surprised by your choice of project. The build diary is a great way to get going. The eagle eyes on the forum will correct you if they spot something going wrong.
Welcome to the forum. I hope this will be the first of many projects.
I hope too! Thanks
Your English is fine , welcome Pedro
Hola Pedro!! Bienvenido (aunque yo llevo cuatro días por aquí)
You´ll find all the help you need in this forum.
Welcome Pedro, good luck with the build. The IB-6S is a great looking kit.
Welcome Pedro.
welcome to the forum Pedro. Awesome looking bass the IB-6S, I have built one so sing out with any questions you have in your build diary. It's a monster of a bass and the neck is pretty wide but I put a pre-amp in mine and it sounds tops !
Best of luck with the build.
Are you a Formula 1 or MotoGP fan being from Spain ?
Welcome along Pedro - feel free to ask any questions - we're a diverse bunch here so should be able to help out. And don't be worried about your English - this forum is about building basses - not correcting people's English.
Welcome to the forum Pedro.

I would suggest you also consider fitting a pre-amp, Pedro. The kit comes with five holes for potentiometers, but only four of them are really usable if you keep it passive. I know the kit description says 2 volume, 3 tone controls, but the site wiring diagram shows 2 tone controls and three volume controls - one master and one for each pickup.
You could enlarge one hole and fit a pickup selector switch in it instead - which could work well if you keep it passive. But for that style of bass, I think it would really benefit from being active, with a volume control per pickup, plus active bass, middle and treble controls.
What arrangement did you use, Woks?
Buenas Koldo, ya vi tu trabajo ;)
