Hi, I'm Stewart. Just received my LP-1M.
First time build for me, so I'll more than likely be asking a lot of questions. Glueing in the neck springs to mind!
Grateful for the support here.

Hi Stewart! Welcome. It's generally a lot easier than you think it is. And as the good old HHGTTG says on its cover "Don't Panic!".
Welcome Stewart. Good to see another member from NSW. One of these days we'll have to organise a get together!
cheers,
Gav.
And Welcome from Sydney!
Gluing the neck is not so bad, just highly recommend doing a clamped mock build first, to see where everything sits and insure that your neck is sitting straight and true to the body centreline and bridge.
If you've got questions just jump online and fire away, there is usually someone lurking that can help out.
Welcome again to the forum and enjoy your build experience!
Welcome Stewart. Take your time, ask questions and you'll be fine. Enjoy the build.
Welcome Stewart. What part of town are you in?
Welcome along Stewart!
Cool, welcome from Sydney also! 😀
Welcome from another Sydneysider

Hi Fretworn
I'm at Freshwater, Right next to manly.
Fretworn, I'm in freshwater, next to manly.
Ghaynas, That's cool you are getting the same guitar.
I haven't done anything except place the neck into the body and start sanding.
The neck joint feels really tight. I'm impressed!
I've read that in other threats, it's pretty good because it claims that the neck will work fine in the future. And with the sanding the secret is only patience, only that. Here it's said that the secret of a good guitar is sand, sand and sand and when you think it's done, then sand a bit more hahaha.
Good look with the proyect.
Theres more sand in here than in the Sahara! Once I used to play guitars, nowadays all I seem to do is sand them?? (and occasionally stain, paint and swear at them, but that's a different story).
Hi Stewart, welcome to the forum mate.
