Deal of the century!!!!

So I got on the old interwebs and was checking out Facebook marketplace. I came across a picture of a guitar headstock with a ridiculously low price tag. I clicked on it and it said 2 guitars ones a really nice child's guitar. So I sent a message and asked how much for both. She said $20... $10 each! I rushed over and she came to give them to me. When she handed the child's guitar to me she kept saying its really nice. Its a cheap fake toy crap guitar. She handed the other and said this ones a "jibson"

She handed me a 1990 Gibson J-30!!!! $10 for it and I'm super happy! It has some issues but nothing being a Gibson Acoustic employee can't fix! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...2f563fea21.jpg

I would've had to give her more cash to keep from feeling bad (but then, I've NEVER been fortunate enough to find myself in a situation where I could test that thought!)

Best I ever found was a '72 Fender precision for $50 at a garage sale.

It was was pretty beat up, so refinished it and kept it for about 15 years. I eventually sold it for $850 to enable me to buy a Stingray.

I got my L Series PBass in 1966 and 64 VI bass in 1969 for $180 each from Elliot's Pawn Shop in Sydney, deals like that don't happen anymore

Too true......I remember doing the same thing always trawling through pawn shops and bought one of the rare Ibanez P/J Hybrid Bass Guitars I owned early 1980's for about $150. It was well played and reliced but an absolute steal at that price.

Great bargain! Have you fixed it up yet? If so, how does it sound?
