Great sounding amp I'll have to check one out Zandit
Being able to change the sounds of the guitar is insane! It would certainly confuse the audience!!
Blackface Fender Twin will do nicely thanks.
Bloody loud, nice and clean until it breaks up when pushed also takes pedals well but weighs a tonne
I have a Fender Hotrod Deville 410 I love to pieces.
Would love to be able to buy myself one of these amps one day, it'd be the perfect gigging amp for me.
For any band playing covers getting a different preset for every song would be a great benefit. Also a line out to recording desk is great. But an 1500 watt amp that has inputs for Backing vocals, acoustic guitars, synths and bass is something new.
The only person I know to have owned a Line 6 modelling amp took it back to the store within 24 hours. That was one of the early ones though, hopefully they are sound better and are more reliable now.
I have a Fender Mustang 1 for rehearsals, incredibly flexible and at 20W has enough grunt for our needs.
Also sounds rather large when pumped through a quad box
haha good one Westie07, think it was a typo on KB's part.
You make me laugh how you call people by their christian names !
Fret worn I agree they used to have a bit of a toy reputation. But Yamaha bought them out approx 2 years ago. Wether or not that's a good thing or not that's a different matter. I know they ruined Cubase. But the amps and guitars are supposedly now for the working musician. We will see lol. Paul Hind Marsh uses the line 6 gear live with his solo stuff and the 300ft gorilla bands. For the studio I think it would be a versatile multi instrument amp and the di out is great.
Looks too complex for me.
I have a Vox VT40+ & VT80+ that both come with plenty of preset sounds and still trying to work my way through the 99 or more combinations. The little one is plenty loud enough through a 10" speaker and the bigger one can become a bit too loud through the 12" speaker.
The 1,500 watts for the Line 6 is a bit of an overkill too, even if they are borrowing ideas off PA's as who really needs that much headroom? Probably only stated to help justify an exorbitant price tag.
