Hi Wayne welcome to the forum, great to have you onboard.
ES-3 a fairly challenging kit to start with but the forum will guide you through the process if you need any advice/tips.
Start a build diary in the build diary section and ask any questions there
would love to see some pics so ask if you aren't sure how to upload photos
Hi Wayne, Welcome! look forward to seeing a build diary:cool:
Welcome Wayne.
Welcome to the madness Wayne.
cool, welcome Wayne, jumped in at the deep end i see, well done
thanks wokka,so far I'm just following the on-line guides. I'll try to get some pictures on.
Thanks all for the warm welcome
OK, how do I upload photos? And do I just keep adding to this thread,or start another for a build diary.
Sorry, not good with confusers.
You have to edit the photo to make sure that at its widest (or highest) its no more than pixels.
Then click on insert image (little picture in the menu bar above the text box) find the image you want and upload it. then post reply.
Good luck
I think Andy meant to say no more than 1500 pixels ;)

Well the first one worked O.K. so here's a couple more.
Thanks Wokka, the fronts almost the same. Unfortunately a slight colour variation to the back, it's a bit pinker in the middle.
looks fantastic Wayne, well done. Love your spray booth. Wiring jig looks cool too !
Hi all, just a small question,I'm doing an ES-3 which is inspired by the Gibson ES-175 and most have a rosewood bridge under the tune-o-matic bridge. Is it possible to add this on to my guitar or would it make the bridge too high?
Hi Wayne, you will need to do some research and see how high the rosewood bridges are and compare it to the PBG supplied bridge.
I would guess the heights should be fairly similar but have never installed a rosewood bridge so can't be certain.
If you search the build diaries for the ES-2V model have a rosewood bridge the builder maybe able to supply you this information or flick Adam an email to see if he can measure it from a kit.
Another modification I think you will have to plug the existing bridge holes as I think these rosewood bridges are fixed in place with the smallish thread will screw into the body, a much smaller thread size than the standard approximately 12mm bush
I just found a link to a current ES-2V build so maybe you can PM Mattyeales
