Rca-4
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ad26fc7712.jpgOrdered my RCA-4, and it arrived safely in the UK. Had a slight issue with the neck joint (neck was sitting too low in the body meaning even with the bridge saddles bottomed out action was too high) but managed to get around this by using a router to recess the bridge (fitted a high mass bridge in the end). Stained the body red mahogany with a light dusting of clear nitrocellulose laquer.

Souced some great pickups from Retrovibe, and fabricated a bridge surround and pickup plate from mirrored perspex (waiting for the bridge pickup to arrive and a square shueld). Temporarily fitted the original neck pickup in the bridge position whilst routing the bridge pickup cavity to fit tge new pickup. It sounds bloody epic, will upload a sound demo when I get chance

sounds cool Dave and you have a wide range of sounds. Pretty serious looking bass rig you have !

Its an Orange Terror Bass 500 (valve preamp identical to the Orange AD200, solid state Power amp) with a Harley Benton 4x10 cab. It kicks out 500w when you wind it up. Previously had an Ampeg PF-500 with a 2x10 and 1x15. Hidden in he background are my p bass, Jazz and T bird
