In between 50 million other jobs, I am putting together a GR SF for our fearless leader, Adam.
Here are a few shots of my home made gold fleck Nitro finish.
Still requires final polish but you can see the blingy goodness :)

Necks a bit thin don't you think?
Maybe going for a retro B52's three string set up?
Just to confirm then DB , Dingo tone is compatible with nitro.
Looks great DB. Do you ever build an axe for yourself these days DB?
@Jrod yes DB put nitro over DT on the lefty EX no worries
Jrod, Ni Ni will go over the stain coat without any dramas.
You just have to make sure the DT is fully cured then hit it with two coats of vynl sealer then go nutz with the Nitro.
oh yeah I've seen the neck for that DB, looking good. If you dropped your build list to 49 million you may have a chance to work on it !
I can't wait! Looking great so far.
Ads you will have to get used to the ultra thin neck so I'd start watching some Seasick Steve vids to watch how he plays a one string axe hahah
I've got the same arthritis issue DB has, so maybe the one string broom handle will be easier on my hand.
haha maybe DB can do a multiscale 1 string neck for you Ads, not sure if it will help being a 1 string
now that is blingy goodness for sure, nice job
Adam and DB - PROCOSAMINE!

B-man is right - definitely something missing from this neck.....probably around 90% of what should have been around it, and as for that binding job, the top looks great but what happened at the back....is your binding cutter a bit blunt?
Looking sensational with that Ni ni Ni top!
look out Pest, DB will find the Delorian from Back to the Future on Flebay and go back in time and he'll be able to play bass all day then
yeah sure does Gav. Sure there must be a remedy/relief for arthritis.
So is your mate LEs Paul junior Gav ? bwhahahah
What about a fret less neck and play slide LOL
Now there's a good idea, hip flask compartment!
Wow never thought of that idea Bman and Ponch. Sure DB will work out an access panel in the Back for grog
And replace the jack with a tap?
nah Pest what are you going to plug the lead into ?
I would propose a camel back style hose coming out and attach it to your strap so mid song you can still have a sip hahah
From memory - Seasick Steve just had the cap on the side of the guitar - unscrew and take a belt, then screw back on - didn't look too flash, but then again - many of his guitars don't :).

Brendan ya crack me up
Even had the pack of matches at the Bass horn to light his ciggies.....
Neck glued.....
On the home straight now!
looking great DB, are you building this stock or any upgrades ? bone nut no doubt.
This must be the first non thread jack for a while !
Thanx guys.
Yhep, bone nut is a given and I might change the pots for Bournes otherwise stock parts.
looks great DB
At last, it is done....
Now to start therapy again after wiring this monster up!
looks excellent DB so this is stock gear hey ?
better book in the wiring therapy mate !
Nice work DB and a great looking kit.

Congrats on the build DB it looks brilliant.
On the subject of the dreaded arthur one of the guys I play with switched to lap steel because he could neither form chords with his left hand or hold a pick in his right, his playing is a bit rudimentary but it has come a long way in the last 12 months ( having Kenny Kitching giving him guidance doesn't hurt either https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkYMszpdtwM )
He has an SX lap steel tuned to G and a resonator tuned to C6.
