Oh man!
They are dropping like flies lately!.....
RIP a tremendous player who's work along with that of Glenn Cornick informed my playing style back in the prog rock days
Very sad news, Squire was a titan among bassists. I expect Adam will be getting an influx of requests for RB-4s in the next few weeks...
Bass Guy, what model is the RB-4 ? You mean Ricky RC-4 ?
That's the one!
How's about a tribute to his Wal.

Anyone?
I find it hard to believe that Ian Waller made a bass that ugly.
Big fan of Chris Squires technique and talent . Man that Wal bass has gotta be heavy .i think You'd end up looking like Quasimodo after a gig Pablo. If you want to hear some of Chris's playing check this out .http://youtu.be/-mc0sX3cPfg. I think Chris and Paul Mcartney showed the versatility of the Rickenbacker Bass
I read somewhere that Rickenbacker weren't fond of Chris, because he introduced string Rickys with roundwounds and playing them with a pick. Apparently basses kept getting sent back with the frets and fingerboards chewed up from the strings and needing to be replaced after a lot of amateurs followed his lead.
