This is my latest mix and what will be the 14th and final track for the forthcoming album.
It originally started as just an intro to a phoney Foo Fighters leaked track I'd written after Dave Grohl released an audio snippet pre-Sonic Highways.

I thought the riff had potential so went and turned it into a full track. Just waiting on vocals now.
Recorded into FL Studio using Guitar Rig 5, the Bladecatcher Tele and an LTD bass.

Sounds really awesome Bargey! I think I can hear the Foo's influence, but that could just be your natural style! Great stuff.

Cheers Wokks, Fretty and well spotted Gav. Before Sonic Highways came out Dave released a snippet of audio with him screaming "ALL RISE", I took his vocal snippet and wrote a fake Foo Fighters intro for it, posted it on Youtube and called it a "leaked track". Ended up getting 70,000 odd views before the actual album dropped.
I liked it so much I decided to turn it into an entire track.

After hearing their latest album I think it's better :-) It's the song Grohl should have written hehehehe

Ok guys I think it is time for me to share some stuff! This is a demo I quickly recorded for a song I am writing titled Missing You, which will feature on my new album. Hope you guys enjoy a quick and dirty demo, trying to dial in the sound completely before going on my holiday up in Central Victoria and hope to record the guitar and vocals within the next few weeks, then get drums done within the next month before mixing, mastering and releasing!

Cheers Andrew, everyone seems to like it so far, so I'm happy now! I already have some ideas for the rest of the album, some songs are heavily bass-oriented so that will be quite fun to write!

Sounds much better than than midi file you sent me bro. Just ask Kimball how much I hate dealing with midi files:-) You should record it to a click track and I'll write you some drums.

Hey Barge, cheers! I'll slow it down for the actual take, I do have someone already coming up with drums, I'll see what his stuff sounds like first.
