this is super cool, Dan. I really like the blend of colour, very effective. Nice work
-
Very Nice Dan, the different shape pickguard adds a completely different look.
-
That pick guard looks like a tux! Such a clean and classy build. Any chance of a video?
-
Thanks guys. I was trying something different with th internal binding, making It look like a faux pickgaurd.

looks and sounds great Dan well done. Did you stain the timber pickguard and truss rod cover blue ?
Presume its a 100% scratch build ?
-
Dan that is just beautiful mate and I Iove your signature shape bro.
-
Cheers fella's.
Yeah Wokka, the pickgaurd section, and the silky oak truss rod cover were stained blue. I'm also going to do the cavity cover on the back Blue too.
I'm not sure if I like the sound of the Neck Humbucker. It's a little more output than I'm used to and it sounds a bit muddy. That said, the HB sounds great in the middle position paired with the single coil. I'm tempted to try a Rebel 90 in the neck. I think it would match the bridge coil better.

Sounds killer mate. I love the hb spud, just adds a gnarly bite to it which allows some cool and different tones. My opinion anyway.

Incredible work Dan. I love the binding, so tricky and original.
