love the colour Gav, what is the stain brand/colour ? It's much darker than azure lagoon
It's SM's Colortone Blue with a bit of white over a cut back black, also from SM, and then some stuff I found going cheap at a local gu.... umm.... shop.....

I have a "red" one with a missing truss rod, figured I'd go blue and save the saffron for the beatle bass/ baritone and the headless!
Applied the NRO linseed variety, it's building quite a deep gloss.

agreed the darker blue colour really suits the flying V
