i have a wiring diagram 3 x Humbuckers, 3 Volume, 1 Tone, 3 Way Toggle Selector, No Coil Switching !!!
but i am after one with coil switching on 2 of 3 hum buckers with push pull pot in volume pots ,, can SOMEONE help me ??
i have 2 push pull pots and 2 split coil hum buckers ,,
so what i am after is
3 * humbucker ( 2 split coil , 1 regular) , 3 vol ( 2 push pull , 1 reg ) , 1 tone , 3 way selector

Looks like red is hot and black is ground for your humbuckers, with white and green joined for the series coil connection.
So, to coil split your humbuckers all you need to do is run a wire from the white/green join to the centre pin of your push/push switch and a ground connection to one outer switch pin on the same side. That will ground out one coil giving you a single coil output. Repeat the process to the other push/pull for the other humbucker you want to split. Basically, it would be the same as your diagram above but with switched grounds connected to the green/white joins on two of your humbuckers.
You should be able to use any wiring diagram (Seymour Duncan, Guitar Electronics etc) as long as you can identify and match up which colours are hot, ground etc.
i see that but it doent show how to solder the wires and where-- on the push pull pots ??? and thats what im trying to find out
Looking at the IronGear website, they have other diagrams of switched humbucker arrangements - you could look to bastardise one of those and get a hybrid... They've done what Scott recommends above with the white/green going to the centre of a switch...

What are u wanting from your 3 way switch in terms of activating these? I'm thinking you might be better off with DTDP switches to activate the split coils? Let me know.
To keep it simple, you can just look at one pickup at a time, like this Seymour Duncan diagram.
In the Seymour Duncan diagram, the red/white wires are the series join for the coils, where as they are green/white in the diagram in your post above. So, all you need to do is solder your green/white join to the centre lug of the push/pull pot switch and a ground to the bottom lug (as it is shown in the Seymour Duncan diagram), and you're done for that pickup. With that wiring when you pull the pot up it will ground out one coil giving a single coil pickup. Do the same thing for your other pickup and you are done. You don't need to make any other changes to your original wiring diagram above, unless you want the ability to switch on/off the third pickup etc.

That's what I am thinking too Scott. Which pickups are going to be coil split. Bridge, Center or neck? Will only two humbuckers be capable of being switched on or will all three be turned on?
well what i was going to do was have the 3 way switch wired so the middle hum bucker which is a p90 pickup on guitar to the out side for neck or bridge position on 3 way so the p90 can be played buy it self ,, then the neck on the over side and bridge in the middle ( there split coil hum buckers) ,, and with the push pull volume pot i can turn them from hum to single and turn vol down to stop the pick up all together ,, so in conclusion is can have single p90 sound ,, hum with p90 ,, humm buy there self ,, single with p90 and hum and etc etc etc !!!Quote:

i hope that explained what i was trying to do ,, going for versatile sound- a mix of single , p90 and hum
DTDP switch is on the bottom of the push pull volume ,, how do i wire to the switch then to pot on top ??
neck split hum ,, middle p90 ,, bridge split hum

i had seen this!!! but i was confused cos the first prong gos to tone pot and second to the 3 way ,, but the orig wiring my 3 way switch is before the tone so ,, the prong would go to the 3 way then to the tone ,, but in the diagram above ,, i would have to run the first prong to the 3way then the tone ,, DO YOU THINK THAT would work cos i am assuming the first prong would be the hot wire and the 2nd wouldn't be needed cos i would have the 3way before for tone ?? is that right ???
