Hi everyone
Great excitement...have just received my first kit today, the LP-1!!
I've been kicking around reading the forums since late last year, when I first became aware of these kits...although this is my first post. Feel that I already know some of you regulars!
Would like to go for a heritage cherry sunburst finish...love the Gibson LP Traditional look.
Having my own signwriting/graphic art business should come in handy when it comes to spraying the burst
and designing a custom headstock decal.
Haven't started this kit yet and I'm already loving the look of the ES-1G.
"Concentrate...one thing at a time!!!"
Cheers
Andy

Will start a build diary of the LP.
Being a newbie myself, think i may need all the help i can get.
Find it amazing how willing the more experienced builders are, to share their knowledge and help us neebies out!
A trurely great bunch of guys!!

Good to have you on board, Andy.
I'm also a Port Lincoln person who you probably have seen about in a green uniform. I've been on Pitbull since buying a an ST-1 kit in early February in time to have it finished ahead of my 50th in April. As someone who already has a genuine Les Paul (bought for me by my loving wife), I'm very interested to see what you achieve.
