Any clue on what shapes will be available?
A P and J shape is a given, but that leaves 5 more shapes! I'd love to see a thunderbird shape to go with the firebird kit already available.
Also, please tell me there are maple fretboards coming for the bass kits? :D
Adam gave a run-down on the bass models elsewhere, mate (can't remember exactly which thread) but, from memory, there was a J, a P, a P with humbucker, a Hofner, and two Ibanez-styles, one 4 string, one 5 string. I think there was a seventh model, but I can't remember what it was. Certainly something for everyone there, though.Quote:

Found the thread in which the bass models are identified. The one I missed was the Hofner with spalted top.Quote:

I think the Spalted Beatle Basses are already pre-stolen/hi-jacked by a pirate boat that left Freemantle several weeks ago.....Quote:

Yeah, I'm sorry the 2 spalty Hofner style kits were special orders... but we may be able to wrangle one of them from DB's sweaty clutches... he's got enough basses. It would be a nice addition to the site.
I'm not one for Beatle basses so no worries there. However I am really keen on a bass version of the FB-1, from what I've read custom orders aren't too much of a pain in the arse so this would be doable right?

Hi! Do either of the p bass models you have coming in have a maple fretboard?
Re: Spalted Maple Hofner basses, we'll have a look at the quality of the two coming in before we consider it as new product line for the store.
Re: Maple Fretboard basses. Sorry Pablo, the basses coming in are all rosewood fretboards. BUT! You can order one if you like... they will put a maple fretboard neck on any of the basses we will be stocking. Same price as the r/w. Delivery would be for May.

Pablo the shipment was held up in Singapore (New Year maybe?) but it's due in Fremantle first week of march. So they should be available on our site around March 9.
