Can we get a few new areas in the forum?
* Upcoming Gigs
* Non-Pit bull gear e.g. FX and Amps (and no-non Pitbull Guitars, unless it's me :D )
* Health and Safety Yes, it's boring, but it's almost necessary (I don't know if you need to run this concept past a tame solicitor in case you're creating a potential liability)
* non-commercial for sale (maybe, maybe not)

Who in their right mind would spend 38 grand on a reproduction EVH franken strat? :o
Just think, for that kind of coin I could build a gold plated monster, with diamond inlays and platinum binding and the best custom built hardware and electrics and you would have something that no one else would ever have.....

The original Frankenstrat cannot be reproduced because the body had a knot in it. A relic cannot sound like the original because the wood hasn't dried and opened up. So they want a knock-off because..?Quote:

Hi I'm pretty new to this site and have a suggestion. I understand that all kit guitars have the same basic components and that most of the information here is geared as such. Do you think it would be useful to have sub forums related to specific pit bull guitar models?
I have recently purchased a Pit Bull ES-1G and am looking forward to starting the build.
I do have some issues that others may have come across when doing this build. I think the guy who fabricated mine didn't have his specticals on whilst operating the drill press.
Anyway, Model related topic headings might be a way to get people who are on the same project a way to communicate. My guess is the LP forum would be the most popular. Come on you guys take a leap and get an ES. :D

Hey John, I'm wondering whether you can take a photo of the headstock on your ES-1G. I'd like to see it and I'm sure others who also bought that kits would like to see it and compare it to theirs. If it really is a fault at the factory, we can order a replacement, no problem.
In regard to sub forums, I was going to set up the Forum as you suggested, with sub-forums for every kit. Problem is, we'll soon have over 30 kits to choose from and so many of the processes are the same. So, I decided to break it down into common processes: wiring the pick ups, shaping the headstock, fitting hardware, etc.
Our videos are still a work in progress (Pit Bull Guitars has only been going for a few months). So, once we've settled on about 30 kits that we'll run with, we want to have a video for every one of those kits.
As with all things... it takes time.
