Hi There Paul D with his first build

Gidday all,
just collected my first DIY a DM-1S which is I guess in essence a double cutaway with a single pickup, fantastic for my first build me thinks. Kit came with all the parts ( all this goes in there?) and the body and neck look awesome. First thing a see is the neck isn't straight - funny about that, apart from that here comes just a wee bitta sanding. Will post piccies as I go BTW my first time in a forum as such so if I stuuf up lets me know TIA. Paul D.:cool:

Hi Paul welcome to the forum, look forward to seeing pics of the kit you scored. When you say the neck isn't straight I presume you mean it has back or forward bow ? That can be straightened with truss rod adjustments but we'll worry about that later

This should work. the P90 should have a bare wire (ground) and a shielded one (hot)
