So I ordered a 12 stringm 24 fret SG back in May. I got it just a couple weeks ago. So far it's been a pretty fun project! Once I figure out how to post pictures of my progress, I will :)

oooh, now thats sounds like an interesting build!
Pictures need to be under 1200 pixels on their longest side.
If you aren't seeing a row of posting options for font size underlining ect and a pic and video upload button you need to go into your account settings and turn on "Standard Editing" which is right down the bottom of the page under "Miscellaneous"
Or host on imgur.com
you sign up with an email address - very easy. Imgur is a community so you can actually make your stuff public and interact with people on there - but I use it purely for hosting and keep my profile private.
Anyway, this is what your library looks like - you can also break it up into albums, but this works for me.

You can drag and drop directly onto this page from your desktop or a folder on your computer. You can do it with multiple images at the same time. or you can click 'add images' and hunt for them in the traditional way to upload.

When you click on an image in your library, this box pops up. I usually choose 'large thumbnail' (in the bottom right hand corner) for forums like this. Then click on the 'direct link' code in the boxes on the right hand side. This automatically copies the code to your clipboard.

Then come back to your Pitbul forum post and paste (Ctrl V) into your comment.
Then either side of that code you need to type (img) in front of it and (/img) behind it, but use the square brackets --> [.
(If you reply with quote to this comment, you will see what I mean re the brackets)
Then it will hotlink back to imgur and appear in your post. This also helps you get around the 5 photo limit on here. You can also post any size pic if you hot link, so you are not limited to the 1500px width or 1mb file size of the forum uploader.
ahh Thank you!
I have some resizing to do - they'll be posted soon
You shouldn't need to change the size to upload to imgur. Then you can choose what size it appears in your post when you link it. I use large thumbnail, but you might need to experiment to see what resize suits your device output. I don't think the 1200px limit applies to hot linked images.
That should be '1500' pixels for .jpg .jpeg .png and .gif files. No point making them smaller than they need to be.
Also under 1MB in size. Not normally a problem but some photos with a lot going on in them may need a higher level of compression to get them under that limit.
I'll check out imgur but for now I'll post a collage for my intro into the site and my project :) so what we have is Pit Bulls SG-1F! I ordered it to have 24 frets as I mentioned with white bound neck. I bought electronics separately. I bought one pick up for now - a Gibson 57 classic +.
So far, like Fred, I reshaped the bevels with a rasp - Pit Bulls SG's are designed after Epiphone's Korean G400's. Iused a blue dye from Keda. What I was unsure about was how the dye would on the mahogany since it's a darker wood than maple. It lightened up once it dried to match closer but I'm not sure what it'll do once I clear coat. We shall see!
Great blue. That's going to be one top heavy beast!
Nice! The Keda dies are nice colours. I didn't use them on my SG as they didn't fair too well in my UV exposure test.
But my test was very harsh and I wouldn't expect a guitar to be left in the sun as I did.
What's your plan for topcoat?
