Introduction

Hi There,

Recently received the EXM-1 Explorer kit for my son. He's an avid player and we can't wait to get stuck in. I bought the mahogany body as I love wood and the tone will be excellent. Only thing is my son wants to paint it a solid white.

Being a traditionalist I wanted to stain and lacquer but hey - it's not for me and he wants to be James Hetfield :D

Something tells me this won't be our first venture. Looking forward to sharing the journey.
