Another of the project production line.
The Mahogany body on this LP double cut Junior is a blend os SM Red Mahogany and Cherry Red!
I will be using Gibson Tuners, Rosewood Fretboard with white MOP markers. The neck is also Mahogany. This is the second wrap-around bridge in the line. Because I want this to sustain forever with maximum harmonics I will be using a Graphtech Resomax bridge. Standard black Pickguard will be employed.
For pickups all I can find is that the Lindy Frailin P90 Hum Cancelling pickups are highly rated when using a single pickup on these guitars.

these always look good, the Frailins are a nice choice Gav

Nice! You should check out Brierley Pickups P-90s. From the buzz on Guitarnerd they are spectacular, moderately priced (about the same as the Fralin or a bit less), and completely hand built in Australia.

nice looking junior Gav, I can see you in the naughty room for a long time with all these non PBG builds. Love the colour on the mahogany grain. Have you given up your job to make time for all these builds ?
-
thanks for the heads up on the brierley's, Pabs.
Haha! Woks. might have to do just that!

Some updated photos on the Junior.
I eventually went for the Lindy Frailin Noiseless P90....figured if it was going to squeal at 17.1 impedance I'd like it to do so without competing hum!

looking nice and shiny Gav, is this a spray clear ?
Thats a high impedance 17.1 !

Yeah, this baby is going to squeal! only problem is the guys in Aus who are the Lindy Fralin suppliers are pretty poor in offering any feed back. They have happily taken $200 off me but are incapable of responding to my emails to tell me or even confirm that they have shipped the pickup.
