Looks like it should turn out real nice, the grain of the wood is showing up nicely under the colour of the finish.

butterscotch looks great Andy, did you use 100% butterscotch and not water it down with the white mix ?
headstock looks great too
Look thats wet guys so of course it soaked up pretty quick and dulled a bit. I expect 3 - 4 coats are needed.

Looking great so far, and I reckon the butterscotch colour suits it well.
