Hi Chico, mine is far from finished and I don't have any way of recording sorry.
For finishes, I'm using fountain pen ink for the green and car acrylic for the black and clear coats

Loving what you've done so far Dedman great colour combination too. Nice project , looking forward to seeing it develop. Well done nice kit choice too.
Thanks for you answer
because Wokka gets upset when there is no photos here is where the head stock is atm. I noticed today both side pieces moved slightly demmit! So I learned...one at a time! more paint to go

What a bummer.
yea, I'm 1/2 inclined to veneer over it
Is it sprayed through a stencil? Maybe you could sand back, add more black and then go again?
Sneaky way out that I would do if ever contemplating a black faced headstock is to use decal transfer paper reversed out in that the background would be all black and the image reversed in colour. Easy if all you are doing is text. Alternatively you could just do your image in the desired colour and then cut the sections out individually and affix to headstock that way then clear coats over the top.
it's brass inlay
OK, lotta shine around the edges made me think it was sprayed on through a stencil.
yea, if it was paint I'd just sand it off. I'm just leaving it alone and doing other things and will come back with a fresh outlook hopefully
