Don't let DB see that E word - for guitars it seems it's right up there with the B word and N word for DB :).
if it does the job ;)
The N word. Not what you think....the B word too. This site is working its way to its own vernacular
Today's spray went much nicer.
I decided looking back on the old photos that the contrast on the burst was way too high. Feeling confident - I decided to mist the white paisley so it has a pink fade into the centre. I think it turned out pretty well:

still tossing up whether I want to relic this axe or not. See how I feel when the neck I ordered from PB arrives.
Onward!
Nice mate, looking good.
well done Nicko, I'd save the relic'ing for another axe, the Paisley is looking too nice to drag behind a bike on a gravel road !
aye ;) I'm not usually a fan of reliccing but the paisley i'm drawing inspiration from is quite used
So the neck arrived last night. I wasted no time and got to shaping it!
I was a bit worried about the fit into the cavity but to my surprise after a bit of cleanup from the finish it banged right in perfectly.
Here's the Ormsby neck test:

nice one Nick, no time wasting there, looks like a standard str@t shape headstock and glad the neck fits well and passed the Ormbsy test !
The maple fingerboard really suits the paisley colours !
