Well, it's not headless, which makes the neck longer and which is why they had to add that small top horn to get it to balance. But it is certainly 'very inspired by'.

The bowler runs up the the crease and throws, the ball looks like its going wide... but bounces back and... and... and... it's a bass solo!
Some searching uncovers that the 20/20 was developed in conjunction with Ned Steinberger (at least that's what it said on the adverts), so not simply a rip-off.

Many years ago I had a short bass solo in Proud Mary, one night the bastrads walked off stage one by one so I kept going figuring that would come back shortly, 10 minutes later they were leaning against the wall out front with a beer in their hands.

Was on my VI though so I had plenty of scope to have fun
