It hurts to see those pics. I know it was always the intent, but it's still painful to watch you do it.
It's a bittersweet moment in the build for sure. It's crazy to me that there are actually people who have done this to real vintage Les Paul's in order to replicate the guitar rather than a Chinese kit!

@waz It's not my fault! Tell James Hetfield to take better care of his guitars! The things you don't have to worry about when you have eleventy billion dollars... It's like when Kirk Hammett is taking his $500,000 original '58 Explorer or $2,000,000 Peter Green Les Paul on the road.

Well the long awaited iron cross is underway and almost ready for paint. Printed off a template I found online and traced the outline onto a piece of blank pickguard material, then got the shaped roughed out with a combination of backsaw, drill and utility knife.
