This is my entry for the May comp.
Well after many months of work I finally got the LP1 finished.
This one will be very special to me because back in October 2015 when I first start this build my wife was diagnose with stage 4 lung cancer so I decide to make it a tribute to her because she has always supported me from the time I first met her to the present day with my music.
You will notice her name on the head stock, this is one of those name tags that you buy a girl that you meet/like as a sign of friendship back in my day. My wife still had it so I thought what better place to put it to good use. I'm very happy with this one, plays really great.

Peter H......that is just jaw droppingly stunning. :D
Yes I edited the spelling, although it is also drawer dropping as well, I thought the above spelling was a little more appropriate.:o
nice build Peter, you kept this build quiet, never saw a build diary for it.
Love the colour and some of the touches, is that a sticker in the centre of the headstock or hand painted ? did you paint the white edge on the headstock
your wife must be stoked with the tribute
Beautiful job, Peter. I wish you and your wife the very best.
Thanks Andy.
Top job Peter and echo comments from Andy, Woks & Wonderboy.
Wokkaboy, Yes that is a sticker I got from Japan it was put on before the clear coat and the white edging is painted. I was going to do a build diary but with everything that was going on forgot all about it until I was almost finished. I did post some pictures a while back when I first got the kit.
Wow. I like it. Alot.

I definitely second the best wishes to Peter and his wife. Great looking guitar, too, man!
