Applied 5th coat of TO with a brush today.
Varnished a few sailing boats when I was a teenager and TO looked and smelt similar so why not use a brush. Looks good wet with not too many brush marks however overnight drying will provide proof as to whether this worked or not.

I don't think your photos are doing it justice, Waz. I think the oil is making it shinier than it appears here...
Here are some better shots using soft natural light as it is overcast here this morning.

That's looking the goods! I knew it had a better shine to it than the lighting allowed to show.
Waz that is looking sick as love the colour you got and the shine is getting there ! I'll have a cold pint for you in the naughty warehouse on arrival !
Thanks Guys and looking forward to several of those cold pints and maybe some of your wood fired pizza too.
Got up to near as 42 degrees here today Waz - better keep the wood fired pizzas for another day. The cold pint though ...
Hi Brendan, geez it gets hot over there around this time of year. You could just put some toppings on a base and pizza would cook just from the ambient air temperature.
Time for an update. Over past few weeks have applied 4 coats of TO by brush, left to cure for a few days and last weekend wet sanded with 1500 grit. Ragged a further 4 coats on during the week and took these shots outside using overcast skies for some soft natural lighting. The colour in photos is a true representation of how it looks and really pleased with how it has turned out.
