good stuff Tim, I got some of the radius gauges as well are very cool
Bit of an update. Have made a wooden copy of the plastic template pablo sent me recently. I didn't have any double sided tape so i used a trick I saw on Crimson guitars where Ben puts masking tape down then uses super glue to smear on the two opposing pieces. This worked really well and I was able to easily remove the templates from each other without any glue getting on them.
A few more.
I then set about routing the bridge pickup and control panel slightly larger to fit the cts pots and tonerider pups I plan to use.
Following this I also wet sanded the body down removing most of the orange peel with 600 grit then moving up gradually to 2000. I then used turtle wax scratch remover and maguiers polish to get a nice shine up.
nice one Tim that is really coming along nicely, nice shine !
Love the table router must make life easier and you nailed the template you copied, well done
Nothing to see here......look away, look away..... [disengage envy mode]
Too late. Envy mode engaged... Table top router... Amazing color and finish... Envy mode reaching critical levels....
Oh, so you found that you did need to enlarge the pickup routes for toneriders? Good to know.
