@ Johnnychronic: Legs are 4 parts: 13mm poly tube, rubber vacuum tube, flexible poly riser, mushroom head rivet.
This means no sharps and that the legs are very flexible.
@ Wokks: Long slot is because that is a 500k SLIDER vol pot with a fair bit of travel.
@ Bargy et al: the single humbucker has two slip tubes affixed underneath. These guide the PUP along the two steel rails which are height adjustable (at setup). These tubes also rub on two strips of soft black felt at the sides & beaneath the whole deal. The friction is sufficient to keep the PUP positioned where you have set it by hand. The shielded curly cord is firmly attached under the centre of the PUP and stretches into a recess under the bridge to allow enough length. Sorry I don't have a vid cam, but I hope the rough diagram helps to clarify . . .
