I assumed the same! But the metal was spot welded on the back and as I don't have a welder I didn't risk separating them! That's why I sat them in for around 10 mins so the wax could penetrate as much as possible :)Quote:

I've always been interested in the Les Paul's and now I have a hollow another solid body would be good!
So I was able to do something on my build tonight! My vinyl came in the mail!! I ordered some MOP vinyl but it looked ridiculous so I used the White "leftover" edges to create "Guitar" in Japanese :) I'm very happy! I will be putting a coat of top coat on to seal it some :)

That headstock is looking great Shazzrandom, I love how the Japanese Kanjii looks on it against the red colour.
