Man, that's looking great.
Yeah it's come up better than i expected my only problem is the back of the body took up a lot more stain than i thought it would and i may not have enough to finish the neck.
Somehow I don't think the cream colour pup surrounds are going to look right. The pick guard and back covers are the same as well so ill have to look at something different. The volume and tone knobs will probably look weird too.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d0b4620f4a.jpg
You could try seeing if the rings will stain a bit by soaking in strong cold tea (no milk or sugar). The standard Chinese kit plastics are a bit light/yellow in colour and could do with being darker and more creamy looking. The back of the guitar would go well with either cream or black, but I'm not sure whether I'd go with black rings. Cream rings and amber knobs would be my own choice, but it's your guitar.

The Paul Kossof stripped top LP looks like it had almost white rings (though that could be the photo)

And Marc Bolan's originally black LP Custom was partially stripped, and then refinished in a general amber varnish. The neck was left original, so it ended up with a black neck, black control covers and cream pup surrounds.

I do like the white the knobs i have are very similar in colour as well thanks Simon
I reckon the guitar will look great with black pickup rings, I love the contrast between the colour of the stain used on the back and the natural wood colour on the front, quite pleasing.
