Well here's a start, I decided it needed some pin-striping. Autobarn has a huge range in various colours at the moment.
Still waiting to hear back from the place I'm getting the vinyl cut. I decided to try somewhere local rather than having it sent down from Darwin... they don't seem in much of a hurry to help me out though.
I put it on using a bit of soapy water so it's not fully stuck down in a couple of spots, I'll run over it with the hair dryer later on and it will all sit down and smooth out.

Spoke too soon, vinyl came through this afternoon. Looks cool, probably gone a bit overboard, but the build is an experiment after all :)
Few coats of clear after the vinyl settles down and I'll be ready to throw it together.

You have to be pretty well pleased with that! Well done mate!

Cheers guys, it is good fun. The overall build isn't what I would consider up to my standard, but it has been worthwhile as a test bed.
Did a quick clear coat this morning, but got some fluff in it, so will need to wait for it to dry to fix up. Really need to work out a better spraying setup. I've only been threatening to do it for a year and half

Looks fantastic. Bodge or not, that's going to be a very impressive finished product.
